The Fountain of Living Waters Foundation, a Delaware-based humanitarian organization in the United States, has extended financial and educational support to members of the Morris Brown AME Church and Gbobeh Baptist Church in Royesville, rural Montserrado County.
The initiative, which forms part of the foundation’s ongoing humanitarian outreach in Liberia, comes just a day after the organization donated non-food items to residents of Virginia Township.
The latest intervention underscores the foundation’s commitment to supporting vulnerable communities and strengthening faith-based institutions across the country.
Speaking during the presentation ceremony, the Foundation’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Madam Sandra Capehart, announced a financial assistance package for ten students selected from the two churches.
Ms Capehart said the support is aimed at helping the beneficiaries pursue their education and achieve their academic goals.
She expressed appreciation to God and the foundation’s partners for their contributions toward improving lives in Liberia.
According to her, students are encouraged to remain committed to their education and steadfast in their faith, indicating further that determination and trust in God can help them overcome life’s challenges.
“We want these young people to understand that education remains one of the most powerful tools for transforming lives and communities,” she said.
Pastor Paul Geedeh of Morris Brown AME Church and Rev. James Burfey of Gbobeh Baptist Church receiving the donation on behalf of their congregations, thanked the foundation for what they described as a timely and impactful gesture.
They noted that the assistance would help ease the financial burden on several families struggling to support their children’s education.
The church leaders also offered prayers for Madam Capehart, the foundation’s staff, and its partners, asking God to continue blessing and guiding the organization’s humanitarian mission.
The event brought together community members, church leaders, and several dignitaries, including the Foundation’s Operations Manager, Mr. Johnny Garway, Program Manager Titus King, and other guests who attended to witness the occasion.
The Fountain of Living Waters Foundation continues to make a positive impact in Liberia through educational support, relief assistance, and community development initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of underserved populations.
