The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) has confirmed that three individuals, Peter Taylor, Alieu Kamara, and Moiselekie K. Duwana have been remanded at the Voinjama Central Prison by the 10th Judicial Circuit Court in Lofa County.
The trio was indicted by the LACC after an investigation linked them to acts of financial malpractice at the Lofa County University (LCU).
Their detention follows their failure to file a valid criminal appearance bond since September 6, 2025 at the tenth Judicial Circuit Court in Lofa County.
The court’s decision was handed down during the November Term sitting, presided over by His Honor Pape Suah, Assigned Circuit Judge in Voinjama.
The matter came before the court through the intervention of LACC’s Chief Prosecutor, Cllr. Bobby Livingstone.In a statement, the LACC reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that individuals accused of corruption are held accountable in accordance with the laws of the Republic.
The Commission emphasized that it remains dedicated to promoting integrity, transparency, and accountability across all public institutions in Liberia.The LACC noted that the case underscores its ongoing efforts to curb corruption and strengthen public trust in governance.
