Former Liberian President George Manneh Weah has joined thousands of mourners across Liberia in paying tribute to celebrated gospel musician and President of the Liberia Association of Gospel Musical Artists (LAGMA), Madam Miracle Kettor, whose death has sent shockwaves through the country’s Christian and entertainment communities.
The former Liberian President expressed profound sorrow over the passing of the respected gospel artist, who died on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Monrovia.
Weah extended heartfelt condolences to the Kettor family, members of LAGMA, Liberia’s wider music industry, the Christian community, and all Liberians mourning what he described as the loss of one of the nation’s most influential gospel voices.
“Her passing is deeply saddening,” the former President stated, emphasizing that Miracle Kettor’s life was marked by unwavering service to God, the nation, and humanity.
During her leadership of LAGMA, Miracle Kettor became one of the most recognizable figures in Liberia’s gospel music sector.
