In move to motivate and acknowledge the hard work of some creative Liberians in the Country, the Ambassador of Morocco accredited near Monrovia Lahoucine Rahmouni has presented a gift to a young, talented and creative Liberian author Matthew Lee Gbigbi.
Gbigbi creative writing over the period did not go unnoticed as his work was recognized by top diplomatic in Liberia.
Matthew recently published book, title: “Voice Echoing From The Atlantic” caught the attention of the Moroccan foreign mission to Liberia.
The book among other things has made impact in alighting the societal faulting of communities and the history of Liberia as it relates to the Atlantic Ocean, something among other drew the attention of Amb. Rahmouni and his team at the Moroccan Embassy near Monrovia.
As a result of his admired piece, Matthew honored the invitation of Amb. Rahmouni at the Morocco Embassy near where he had a brief meeting with the top Moroccan diplomatic in Liberia.
Following the meeting, Matthew who reminded the Morocco Ambassador of his youthful days writing some essential pieces received a gift which he encouraged the young author to use as a motivation for him to do more, nothing that it is just the beginning of more he needs to do to make an image in Liberia and the global stage at large.
According to Matthew, the gift presented to him by Amb. Rahmouni as a sound of appreciation for his creative writing and contributions to the sector gift stand as a bond to Collaborate with Sir. Rahmouni to produce a branded version of a new book that will feature the culture and heritage of Liberia and how the Atlantic Ocean has birth opportunities ,serving as the link for advancement and development in the country of recent years.
“I was also given a precious heartfelt gift from the Morocco Embassy in Liberia as a sign of Appreciation for my outstanding energy to promote ,educate and improve the literacy of the liberian learning society with through creative writing”, he added
As part of further support and motivatinoal efforts, The Embassy of the kingdom of Morocco has adjust her plans to have a fit fashioning process to support the culture and history findings of Liberia in changed-narrative way, focusing on the present and future here’s to come.
