Representative Clarence Gahr of Margibi County District #5 has donated 20 motorbikes to commercial motorcyclists operating along the Kakata to Worhn Road corridor.

The donation fulfills a written and signed agreement between Representative Gahr and over 60 motorcyclists who pledged their support for his reelection during the 2023 electoral period.

The agreement stipulated that the motorcyclists would assist Representative Gahr with grassroots mobilization, outreach, and spreading his reelection messages to the district’s most remote areas.

In return, the lawmaker promised to empower them with logistics to boost their livelihoods and economic viability upon winning the election.

The presentation ceremony, held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, was attended by local chiefs, elders, stakeholders, and residents of Margibi electoral district #5.

Speaking at the handover, Representative Gahr praised the dedication and unity displayed by the motorcyclists during his campaign, recognizing their crucial role in his successful reelection bid.

He urged every member of the Motorcyclists Union in Margibi District #5 to maintain their unity and work together for the successful utilization of the donated motorcycles.

He also called on the leadership to ensure the bikes are used for their intended purpose.

The motorcyclists, in turn, expressed their gratitude to the lawmaker for his gesture and pledged to use the motorcycles responsibly and for their designated purpose.
