Montserrado Electoral District #5 Representative Prescilla Cooper has publicly challenged her critics, demanding proof of allegations that she mismanaged district funds.

Representative Cooper’s statement comes in response to what she describes as an attempt by some individuals to tarnish her reputation.

She expressed disappointment with the way some young people engage with female politicians in Liberia.

Cooper urged young people to base their discussions on facts and immediately stop insulting women involved in politics.

She highlighted that several ongoing developments in her district are self-initiated projects.

Representative Prescilla Cooper also weighed in on the recent impasse at the House of Representatives, stating that the situation was not handled properly by members of the legislative body.

Cooper attributed blame to every member of the House for the deadlock, but noted that the issues were eventually resolved internally, without outside influence.

According to Representative Cooper, the signing of a resolution will now set a precedent and help prevent similar occurrences at the House of Representatives in the future.
