Presidential Press Secretary Kula Fofana has clarified that the plan unannounced visit by President Joseph Nyuma Boakai is not intended to target non performing officials of Government.

According to Madam Fofana the move is among other things give the Liberian leader a clearer picture of unfoldings at various Government entities and to also interact with the those who are directly working to make a change in the society.

She however, pointed out that the Liberian leader is seriously concerned about practical performance of cabinet officials aimed at living up to the performance
contract.

The Liberian leader she stated believes in results and is committed to delivering the tangible goods as promised to the Liberian people.

As a mark of motivation she told Executive Mansion Reporters that President Boakai honored several entities and officials of government who over the period performed very well in line with the performance contract.

However, she indicated that others are getting along while some have done well but are working to document their achievements.

Madam Fofana stressed that the secretariat of the cabinet has done well to put in place a system for reporting and monitoring purposes something she pointed out is working very well as members of the cabinet are effectively complying with the system respectively.

When asked about the mountain calls for the dismissal of the Minister of Labor , Cllr. Cooper Kruah, she reechoed that the Liberian leader will not dismiss officials based on hear say or public pressure but only with raw facts and evidence in line with the performance contracts and deliverables.

Also speaking on other issues, the Presidential Press Secretary stated that the Liberian leader is seriously concerned about the unfolding at the capitol hill relative to the ongoing arson investigation.

She was however hasten to mention that President Boakai will not interfere in the investigation but will encourage that the due process takes its course and the laws be upheld to the letter.

Meanwhile, she called on Liberians to work together and unite forces and efforts in other to move the Country forward void of politics and Bitterness.
