President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has announced several new appointments affecting key public institutions across the government.
According to an Executive Mansion release issued on Wednesday, the appointments were made in keeping with the Constitution of Liberia.
The new appointees include:Liberia Institute of Public Administration (LIPA),Cllr. Emmanuel A. Tulay, Sr., Chairman of the Board of Directors Central Agricultural Research Institution (CARI), Dr. Henrique F. Tokpa, Chairman of the Board of Directors and other members reappointed to complete their unexpired terms.
The appointment further affects theNational Bureau of Veterans Affairs (NBVA)Atty. (Major) Jackson N. Morlu, Director General Major Fred Isaac Sumo, Deputy Director General for Administration 1st LT. Isaac T. Wallace, Deputy Director General for Veterans Affairs.
The Executive release stated that the President has extended best wishes to the newly appointed officials and urged them to serve with integrity, diligence, and a deep sense of national duty.The appointments take immediate effect.
