President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has
nominated and appointed additional officials to key positions of Government affecting the
Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and the Governance Commission (GC).
These appointments, where applicable, are subject to confirmation by the Liberian
Senate and they are: Fatima Bintu Sirleaf, Deputy Minister, Internal Affairs, Dedeh Harper , Assistant Minister for Administration, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Thomas Fallah, Commissioner, Waum Administrative District, Foya Statutory
District, Lofa County.
At the Governance Commission, President Boakai appointed Jallah Kesselly as Executive Director.
President Boakai emphasized that these nominations reflect his Government’s
commitment to effective governance, accountability, and community-centered
leadership.
He further expressed confidence that the appointees will carry out their duties with
integrity, loyalty and dedication, working to strengthen public institutions and deliver
tangible results for the Liberian people.
Meanwhile, President Boakai extended his congratulations to the nominees and called on the Senate to ensure their confirmation upon the conclusion of their constituency break.
