Following the suspension of Deputy Minister Bryant McGill of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. has appointed F. Alphonso Y. Belleh as Acting Deputy Minister for Youth Development, with immediate effect.
In his appointment the President highlighted the importance of uninterrupted leadership within the Ministry of Youth and Sports to ensure the effective implementation of programs that empower and inspire Liberia’s young people.
The Liberian leader at the same time calls on all stakeholders to extend their full support to Acting Deputy Minister Belleh as he assumes his new responsibilities in service to the nation.
