The female national team of Liberia on Thursday convincely defeated Guinea Bissau three goals to one in the ongoing WAFU tournament currently taking place in Mauritinia.

Despite having some challenges prior to the commencement of the competition, the talented Liberian players remain focused and over- power her West African counterpart.

A brace from Mimi Eiden and Jessica Quachie saw the red , white and blue outfit collecting all three points from her first game of the competition.

The win is a good start for the young Liberian side who is optimistic of making a significant difference in the tournament.
