President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has appointed Cllr. Daniel T-Kay Dweh as the new County Attorney for River Gee.
Cllr. Daniel T-Kay Dweh is a distinguished legal professional in Liberia, with previous experience serving as a state prosecutor at the Ministry of Justice and as the County Attorney for Grand Kru County and Sinoe including other counties.
He is known for his efforts to combat illegal activities, such as addressing illegal mining operations in the Sapo National Park and advocating for the establishment of specialized courts for civil cases to enhance the efficiency of the judicial system.
Cllr. Dweh is expected to arrive in the county soon to assume his duties, including overseeing legal matters at the 15th judicial circuit court and other legal issues within River Gee.
He replaces Cllr. Fofie V. Kamara, who served as the County Attorney for a brief period.
