Monrovia, Liberia – May 12, 2025: The Citizens’ Movement for Change (CMC) has publicly welcomed the resignation of Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa from his position as Speaker of the 55th National Legislature. In a press release issued on Monday, the group praised Koffa’s stewardship and called on the House of Representatives to swiftly conduct an election to fill the leadership vacuum created by his departure.
