The Tenth Judicial Circuit Court in Lofa County officially opened today, marking the commencement of its full operations for the November Term of Court.
The session aims to address the backlog of cases pending before the court and to ensure that justice is delivered in a timely and transparent manner.
The opening ceremony brought together local officials, members of the legal community, and residents, who witnessed the event that underscored the judiciary’s vital role in maintaining law and order and promoting accountability within the justice system.
His Honor Pape Suah, the assigned judge over the court, emphasized the significance of the November term in strengthening the rule of law and guaranteeing fair trials for all.
“As we open this court, we reaffirm our commitment to justice, transparency, and the protection of the rights of all citizens,” Judge Suah stated during the proceedings.
The court is expected to hear a range of cases, including civil, criminal, and family matters, and will focus on resolving numerous pending cases accumulated over previous months. The opening of this session is viewed as a key step toward improving access to justice in Lofa County and boosting public confidence in the judicial system.
