The 10th Judicial Circuit Court in Lofa County delivered a final verdict in the high-profile murder case of Monyoungor Keleko, resulting in life sentences for two defendants and a five-year sentence for a third.

The tragic incident occurred on December 31, 2024, at approximately 7:30 PM in Duogomai Town, Voinjama District.

Monyoungor Keleko, a resident of the town, was brutally murdered, prompting a swift investigation and subsequent trial.

After careful deliberation, the jury found Emmanuel Flomo and Aaron S. Kollie guilty on multiple charges including criminal conspiracy, felonious restraint, and murder.

The court imposed a life sentence on both men, who will serve their terms at the Voinjama Central Prison.

A third defendant, Lamine Flomo, was convicted of criminal conspiracy and felonious restraint and was sentenced to five years in prison.

The charges against the trio were based on violations of sections 10.1.4, 10.4.9, and 14.1 of the Penal Law of Liberia.

This verdict underscores the judicial system’s commitment to addressing violent crime and ensuring justice for victims’ families in Lofa County.
