Bong County Senator Prince Moye has called for greater unity among political, traditional, and community leaders in Bong County, describing cohesion as the foundation for meaningful and sustainable development.
Senator Moye made the appeal during the official dedication ceremony of the newly constructed Suakoko District Commissioner Compound, an event attended by local authorities, community representatives, and government officials.
Addressing the gathering, the Bong County lawmaker stressed that development cannot thrive in an atmosphere of division.
He urged leaders across political and social lines to work collaboratively in advancing the county’s growth agenda.“Unity among our leaders is not optional, it is essential. When we set aside our differences and work together, we strengthen government initiatives and create the enabling environment necessary for development projects to succeed,” Senator Moye said.
He further emphasized that strategic partnerships between elected officials, traditional authorities, youth groups, and civil society organizations would enhance service delivery and speed up socio-economic transformation in the county.
The dedication of the Suakoko District Commissioner Compound was described as a milestone in strengthening local governance and improving administrative efficiency at the district level.
The project, according to speakers at the event, reflects ongoing efforts to improve public infrastructure and decentralize governance services.
With senatorial elections expected in 2029, Senator Moye reaffirmed his commitment to championing policies that prioritize education, healthcare, road connectivity, and youth empowerment.
He maintained that inclusive leadership and collective responsibility remain the keys to unlocking Bong County’s full development potential.
The ceremony concluded with renewed calls for sustained cooperation among stakeholders to ensure that development initiatives translate into tangible benefits for citizens across the county.
