President Joseph Boakai has nominated Ojay Morris as Superintendent-Designate for Margibi County.
Letter from the Executive read in session today indicates the President’s interest in the confirmation of Mr. Morris to occupy the post.
The letter addressed to Protempore Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence seeks Senate’s intervention in confirming the nominee.
Ojay is a staunch member of the ruling Unity Party.
Before his nomination, he served as acting Secretary General for party in Margibi.
His nomination has been forwarded to the committee on Internal Affairs for confirmation hearings of which a decision will be made by the Senate base on the Committee’s report.
