President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has made additional appointments across different sectors of government, reflecting his administration’s commitment to strengthening justice, governance, and higher education.
As part of his ongoing reform and structure of government, The Liberian leader nominated and appointed individuals, Cllr. Daniel T-Kay Dweh – County Attorney, River Gee County, Atty. E. Wilkins Nah – County Attorney, Grand Gedeh County and Atty. Martin M. Tumoe – County Attorney, Rivercess County.
At the Liberia Airport Authority John Z. Buway, Sr. was appointed as Deputy Managing Director for Administration.
At the Grand Bassa University Board of Trustees, Mme. Laurentine Bass was appointed Chair, Representative of the Visitor, while Dr. Jarso Jallah – Ex-officio, Minister of Education.
Others are: Sen. Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence – Member, Representing the Senate, Alfred Flomo – Member, Representing the House of Representatives, Terry Wholquoi Yeahgar – Member, Representing Electoral District #1
, James Nauhn – Member, Representing Electoral District #2, John B. S. Davies, III – Member, Representing Electoral District #3, Alpha Bah – Member, Representing the Business Community.
At the same time, ArcelorMittal Liberia – Member, Representing the Business Community, the President of the Alumni Association of GBU, Member, National Commission on Higher Education , Member
and Rev. Dr. Samuel B. Reeves, Jr. – Secretary, President of the Grand Bassa University.
Thees nominations where applicable, are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate.
President Boakai emphasized that these appointments are consistent with his government’s resolve to uphold justice, enhance institutional leadership, and support the advancement of higher education in Liberia.
