Under a wet Thursday afternoon, scores of Liberians have braved the rainy day protesting calling for the needful to be done for them.
Unlike the early morning hours, the number of turnout thus far is a bit encouraging even though, it is not as expected as much as publicized over the period.
The protesters under the rain and cold weather march from Congo Town and other surrounding locations to the grounds of the Capitol Building where they are expected to present their petition statement to members of the National Legislature.
So far, there has been no violence reported neither police brutality on peaceful Protesters as state security officers and the Protesters have been hailed for the peaceful conduct of the protest thus far.
Chanting different protest slogans , the Protesters also held placards with different inscriptions to include; drugs are killing our young people, They Lie to us, police killing innocent people and we registered our bikes but they are denying us from pliding the main streets, among others.
At the same time, the organizers of the protest have maintained that bad governance, high unemployment rate, alleged massive corruption, hardship and untold suffering are among attributing factors which promoted their protest.
