Deputy Speaker Thomas Fallah said his support to President Joseph Nyuma Boakai is not political but rather for the Country’s development as a whole.

Speaking to reporters in Washington DC after day one of the Liberia Diaspora conference, Deputy Speaker Fallah said his interest is to see a change in Liberia void of personal or political interests.

Currently he told reporters that he does not know his position politically whether in opposition or ruling position but his focus is to see a renew and transform Liberia which he pointed out President Boakai is committed to.

According to him, President Boakai is concern about developing Liberia, a similar dream he has as such, he remains resolved in supporting the Liberian leader.

” I support President Boakai that’s why you see me here and I will always be around to demonstrate my support for his administration”, he re-emphasized.

Fallah emphasized further that the agenda of President Boakai is his goal and he is working to ensure that such is achieved together.

“I am now a new Thomas Fallah, very objective, I am a free thinker and I believe this is the right path to take and I also have my right to support whoever I want to and I am doing that now for President Boakai “, he reechoed.

Speaking about concerns from Diaspora Liberians relative the opening of consulate in other parts of the world to include, Australia, Sweden and some parts of Europe, he promised to champion such campaign in the interest of the nation and its people.

“This is a valid point from Diaspora Liberians and we wil do about best to push the debate to our colleagues “, he added.

Even though the Deputy Speaker said his focus is more on his support to President Boakai for the sake of Liberia void of party politics but political pundits believe that he has already crossed over to the ruling party except that he is yet to say it openly but action, they believe speaks louder than words, however, he maintained that he is a free thinker and has no political link for now, ” i dont have any position now”, he added.
