A thirty five year old man identified as Saah John is appealing for humanitarian assistance in order to save his life.
Saah who resides in the 72nd Paynesville community is battling severe liver problems and a painful spleen disorder, conditions that are rapidly draining his health.
In drive to help himself, Saah explained that all the little savings he had were spend on his poor health and is now surviving from the mercy of God and handouts from friends, neighbors and other extended relatives.
According to him, initial intervention will be to undergo a crucial CT scan at the JFK Medical Facility, a key step to understand the full extent of his illness.
Doctors at the same time told him that his only long-term hope lies in a liver transplant, a life-saving procedure that cannot be performed in Liberia.
