The Liberia National Tourism Authority (LNTA) has convened a consultative meeting with stakeholders in Liberia’s creative sector, aimed at strengthening collaboration and advancing the development of the country’s creative economy.

The meeting is expected to take place on tomorrow Friday, February 6, 2026, at the LNTA office on Warner Avenue, 18th Street, Sinkor, and will bring together artists, cultural practitioners, designers, filmmakers, content creators, and creative entrepreneurs from across the country.

According to the LNTA issued statement, the consultation will focused on assessing the current state of Liberia’s creative industry, identifying key challenges hindering growth and sustainability, and exploring practical strategies to move the sector forward.

Discussions will also highlight issues such as access to markets, policy support, capacity building, and the role of creative industries in promoting tourism and cultural heritage.

Officials of the LNTA Creative Economy Office will outline their strategic priorities, to call for stronger partnerships between government institutions and creative industry actors.

The authority noted that improved coordination and policy alignment are critical to positioning Liberia’s creative assets as viable drivers of tourism, employment, and economic diversification.

Participants are expected to share insights and recommendations that will inform future national tourism and creative economy programming.

LNTA has vowed to supporting the creative sector as a key pillar of Liberia’s tourism development agenda and called for continued engagement with stakeholders to ensure inclusive and sustainable growth.
