The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) has announced the official launch of the Governance and Anti-Corruption Fellowship (GAF) Program, a national initiative aimed at strengthening democratic governance, integrity, and accountability across Liberia.

The launch is expected to take place tomorrow Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Ministerial Complex in the Conference Room of the Civil Service Agency (CSA).

According to the LACC, the GAF Program seeks to nurture a new generation of reform-minded leaders, civic actors, and young public sector professionals committed to building accountable public institutions and combating corruption at all levels of society.

The fellowship will provide participants with structured mentorship, practical learning opportunities, and policy engagement platforms designed to promote ethical leadership and strengthen integrity systems nationwide.

Fellows will also gain the knowledge, skills, and professional networks necessary to advance transparency, accountability, and good governance within public institutions and communities across the country.

The Governance and Anti-Corruption Fellowship Program is jointly developed by NAYMOTE-Liberia and the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission and is considered a strategic investment in Liberia’s broader governance reform agenda.

The program is being implemented with support from several international and democratic partners, including the European Union in Liberia, the U.S. Embassy in Monrovia, the British Embassy in Monrovia, the Embassy of Sweden in Monrovia, the African Movement for Democracy, and the World Movement for Democracy.
