The Grand Finale of the Rise and Recycle Competition will take place tomorrow at the Delegation of the European Union office on 100 UN Drive, bringing together young innovators, environmental experts, and community representatives working to promote sustainability in Liberia.
The competition, launched in June, engaged participants from across the country to develop creative solutions for waste management, recycling, and environmental protection.
According to EU-Liberia issued release, the students community groups, and individual innovators submitted projects showcasing their commitment to building a cleaner and greener environment.
The Grand Finale will on tomorrow feature exhibitions of innovative recycling projects, live demonstrations, and final presentations before a panel of judges.
Winners will receive internship opportunities and additional prizes in recognition of their contributions to environmental sustainability.
Ahead of the event, European Union Ambassador Nona Deprez praised the initiative as a driver of change.
