In a major boost to grassroots football, Senator Momo Cyrus has donated L$500,000, 10 sets of jerseys, and a championship trophy to support the upcoming Electoral District League in Lofa County.

“This is about empowering our youth, strengthening community bonds, and using sports as a tool for unity and development,” Senator Cyrus said in a brief statement.
The trophy, designated for the tournament champion, is expected to intensify competition and motivate teams to put on their best performances throughout the league.
The donation was formally received by the County Development Officer on behalf of the county’s leadership, who praised the senator’s commitment to youth and sports development.
