The Liberia National Police (LNP) has formally charged Madam Zainab Bah and her husband, Ibrahim Jalloh, following a widely circulated video depicting a confrontation with police officers related to an alleged power theft incident. Simultaneously, the LNP has taken disciplinary action against an officer involved in the arrest, suspending her for forcibly removing Madam Bah’s hijab during the encounter.
