The Clerk of the Supreme Court of Liberia has officially informed legal practitioner Atty. Saidu Vasco Nyei of his successful performance in the recent examination for admission into the Supreme Court Bar as a Counsellor-at-Law, marking a major milestone in his legal career.
According to the communication received late yesterday evening, Atty. Nyei not only passed the rigorous examination but emerged as the highest-scoring candidate among his peers.
In recognition of this outstanding achievement, he has been selected to deliver remarks on behalf of successful candidates at the formal admission ceremony scheduled for February.
Speaking on the achievement, Atty. Nyei on his official Facebook page expressed gratitude to Allah for what he described as continued grace and blessings throughout his academic and professional journey in law.
With this latest success, Atty. Nyei completes what he termed the trinity of legal achievements in Liberia, graduation from law school, admission as an Attorney-at-Law, and now qualification for admission as a Counsellor-at-Law before the nation’s highest court.
He also described the moment as historically significant for his family, noting that he will be the first bearer of the Nyei name to address the Full Bench of the Supreme Court of Liberia in the Court’s Chambers.
The Supreme Court Bar admission marks the final stage in Liberia’s legal qualification process, granting successful candidates full rights of audience before the Supreme Court.
