President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has made additional appointments affecting the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the local government of Nimba County.
According to the Executive Mansion, the following individuals have been appointed:
Varney Sheriff Assistant Minister for Administration at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Mary Nyan Gonlepa – District Commissioner, Sehyi-Gboi Administrative District and Clarence Dolo – District Commissioner, Yahman Administrative District
The Executive Mansion appointments also include, Eric R. Yancy Township Commissioner, Kinnon Township and John Kour Township Commissioner, Zuoplay Township,
Accordingly, the to the Executive Mansion these appointments, where applicable, are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate.
President Boakai has called on all appointed officials to demonstrate diligence, commitment, integrity, professionalism, and loyalty in their service to the country.
