A trained US Military personnel Prince Ngaima and a born Liberian who resides in the United States of America has accused the National Chairman of the Patriotic entrepreneur of Liberia; Dominic Nimely of allegedly refusing to settle his bike transaction issue.
Narrating his ordeal, Prince said in 2023 , he shipped a container to Liberia which contains a customized motorbike intended for sale.
According to him, the bike cost was 15,000 usd.
Prince told our reporter that he got connected to Dominic through Ceazer Woods, one of his friends to help him sell the bike at his (Prince ) price of 15,000usd.
In the process of selling the bike, Mr. Ngaima explained that he had called Dominic a few times to check on his bike but he was always assured by Dominic that his bike was safely parked and no one was tempering with it.
Furthermore, Dominic stated to Prince that there were numerous of inquires except offered prices were between six thousand to seven thousand United States Dollars respectively.
But, Mr. Ngaima refused the offers and told Dominic to return the bike to Mr. Woods resident.
According to Prince, the return process took Dominic additional five to six weeks excuses as to why he couldn’t return the bike.
Mr. Ngaima finally called Mr. Woods to ask Dominic to return Mr. Ngaima’s bike at his resident as soon as possible and finally, Dominic returned the bike to Mr. Woods resident.
Upon receipt, Mr. Woods quickly took videos and pictures of the bike and send them to Mr. Ngaima per his request.
When Mr. Ngaima received the pictures and videos of the bike, he quickly placed a call to Dominic to express his frustration for his bike which he discovered some damages on it without any prior notice.
Our investigation also notice some damages on the bike with videos and photos evidence in our possession prior to the arrival of the bike which was brand new at the time.
However, Mr. Nimely stated that he was not in the Country when said situation took place but noticed said damage on the bike.
Following meetings from both parties along with other mediators to help address the issue which lasted for years, Prince said the PATEL’S boss allegedly failed to meet up with his part of the bargaining as agreed upon.
“We agreed as gentlemen especially looking at the future to lay other technical issues aside and told Dominic to only pay for the repairs which cost 3,400usd and some change”, and we also decided to get the bike spare parts from Ghana or the USA, the bike owner further narrated.
However, he alleged that even though Mr. Nimely agreed to the promised agreement but failed to pay the money in full but rather bit and pieces which the bike owner refused to allow happen.
Prince said he got angry and felt that Mr. Nimely was allegedly taking advantage of him as such went at his use car center on the Jallah Town road and took one of his cars with focus of seizing it until his bike can be repair properly by Dominic.
“I took his car with one of his staffs inside but unfortunately the car broke down on 5th street in Sinkor due to lack of gas and at which time, his staff called Dominic who horribly rushed to where we were and allegedly put up a scene claiming that I (Prince) put his staff under gun point which was not the case”, a big scam, he noted.
Heavy police officers, Prince narrated later went on the scene following Dominic’s call and saw him buying gas for Dominic’s car that had broken down.
In a dramatic style, Dominic told police officers that he (Prince ) had a gun on his side.
Prince admitted he had his hand gun on his side, in a safe hoster, as a professional and trained military personnel with a license as well but maintained that he did not put Nimely’s staff under gun point as he (Dominic) claimed .
Police officers , Prince further explained later took them to the headquarters of the Liberia National Police, took away his firearm which he Dominic admitted is still with the police.
However, Mr. Ngaima indicated that he fears that his firearm could be out there with some bad guys committing crimes unknown to him.
“All I need from Dominic is my money and I am not going back to the previous gentlemen agreement rather my 15,000usd, and if he can’t afford that, he can give me an equal value property or car that I will value which will worth my 15,000usd “, he re-emphasized, but Dominic emphatically told our reporter that such is a big joke., “Tell him, it is a big Joke and that will not happen “, Dominic blasted.
Prince told our reporter that he is surprise to be treated the way he has been for about three years now especially from a young man like himself.
Mr. Ngaima explained that Dominic tries to make me look like a bad person but that is not the case, ” I am a good person, with kind heart who is also contributing immensely back home, my investments are testimonies “, he re-emphasized.
When contacted, the PATEL’S boss clarified that their initial discussion on the repair of the bike as a gentlemen agreement was 1,600- 1,700usd but not 3,400usd and some change as claimed by Mr. Ngaima, but the bike owner termed Dominic’s assertion as false and untrue.
He additionally clarified with video evidence and written text copies of which we have explaining that he made efforts to pay some of the money for the repairs of the bike in the tune of 2,000usd but the customized bike owner allegedly refused to take his money in bit and pieces.
The video call and written text also showed Mr. Nimely apologizing to Prince (the bike owner) for the delay in the entire transaction.
The PATEL’S boss also stated that the bike price he told Prince was too much as some customers requested to pay 7,000usd and 4,000usd respectively but Mr. Ngaima refused on ground that the bike is too value for such little amount.
Dominic also alleged that the trained military personnel even though in his absence put his staff at gun point , a claim that Mr. Ngaima has since denied and described such as a cover up story contrary to the reality.
Our investigation also established that some of the witnesses that Mr. Nimely named linking Prince to putting his staff on gun point denied such allegations,” even though, it was discovered that Prince had a gun but did no do such thing, that’s is far from the reality”, they told our reporter.
The bike in question is currently in possession of Mr. Woods since Dominic delivered it to him.
According to our investigation, the photo of the bike upon arrival in the Country was a brand new one but current photo shows how badly it got damaged when it was in the possession of Mr. Nimely, even though Dominic stated that he did not use the bike but was out of the Country when such incident happened.
In the wake of the unsettled customized bike Saga, the PATEL’S boss threatens to reawaken the alleged gun case of his staff which he stated is still with the police but Prince said he can not be frightened by such blackmail threats and maintained that all he needs from Dominic is his full money , 15, 000usd now for his bike especially with the manner and form in which he has been treated allegedly by the PATEL’S boss for the past years.
