The council Chairman of the Louisiana Township, Dennis Bolay, has stressed the critical role of primary education in shaping future career paths and national development.
Delivering the keynote address on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Louisiana Public School, Mr. Bolay underscored that primary education forms the cornerstone of lifelong learning and personal growth, describing it as a fundamental pillar in developing future professionals.
He said in today’s rapidly changing world, where jobs and technologies are constantly evolving, parents must acknowledge the lasting impact of early education on a child’s ability to thrive.
Mr. Bolay highlighted that primary schooling does more than teaching basic literacy and numeracy; it fosters essential life skills such as communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork—skills that are in high demand in the modern workforce.
According to him, employers no longer seek just technical know-how but value creativity, adaptability, and emotional intelligence, all of which are cultivated in early childhood education.
“Children who receive a strong educational foundation are better prepared not just for high school or college, but for the challenges of the workplace and life,” she said.
The Louisiana Council Chairman further indicated that primary education plays a vital role in promoting equality and social mobility.
Citing evidence from global development trends, He noted that access to quality early education narrows economic disparities and empowers children from marginalized communities to pursue rewarding careers.
“Especially for girls and underrepresented groups, completing primary school can open doors that were once considered unreachable,” she stressed.
Mr. Bolay also called on policymakers, communities, and families to increase investments in early learning, teacher training, and supportive school environments, saying such efforts would build a resilient and adaptable workforce ready to meet the demands of the 21st century.
“Let us invest in our children, support our teachers, and build communities where every child can dream, learn, and someday lead.” He concluded.
