A Liberian football administrator, Milton Yoko has urged his colleagues to back Mustapha Raji’s vision for national football development across the Country.
The Chief Executive Officer of Small Town Football Club, Milton Yoko, called on football administrators across Liberia to rally behind the current leadership of the Liberia Football Association (LFA), headed by President Mustapha Raji, and collectively work toward the sustained growth of football in the country.
“Let’s build around the current football administration and focus on the bigger picture of football development,” Yoko said, emphasizing that football has the power to unite the nation.
He urged stakeholders to set aside political differences and personal agendas in favor of a united front that prioritizes the sport’s long-term growth.
Yoko affirmed his strong support for President Raji, citing notable progress under his administration in both domestic and international football affairs.
“There is no reason to oppose someone who is doing extremely well for the growth and development of football in Liberia,” Yoko stated. “President Raji’s leadership is setting new standards for football in the country”, Yoko re-emphasized.
He highlighted Raji’s recent appointment as Deputy Chairman of FIFA Football Olympics Committee, describing it as a historic achievement for a Liberian and a testament to his hard work and dedication to the sport.
“This is the first time a Liberian has held such a position, and it’s a reflection of the global recognition Raji is earning for Liberian football,” Yoko added.
In addition to his role at the LFA, President Raji currently serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and as Vice President of the West African Football Union (WAFU).
Yoko encouraged fellow administrators to view these accomplishments as opportunities to collaborate, attract investment, and further elevate the national game.
