Scores of health facilities in Lofa County have benefited from medical supplies and medication from the Joseph Nyuma Boakai’s foundation.
The donation which targeted health facilities in Konia, Foya and Vahun was among other things meant to enhance healthcare services in Lofa County.
As part of the donation, hospital beds were provided for the Wonsongar clinic while targeted beneficiaries and or health facilities also received one hospital bed and a dressing set.
At the same time, other essential medical items donated include; Fluids, Syringes, One delivery set for each facility, Laboratory cups, Insulin syringes, Ultra under pads, IV Metro and IV Cypro.
Other are; First Aid Kits, Urine bags, Surgical gloves, Thermometers as well as other essential medical equipment.
The donation according to Henry Saah Flanpor ,Deputy Executive Director of the Joseph Nyuma Boakai’s foundation aims to improve the quality of care and support the healthcare workers in the region as they continue their commitment to serving the community’s health needs.
Meanwhile the foundation’s delegation was led by Henry Saah Flanpor, the Deputy Executive Director of the Joseph Nyumah Boakai Foundation, and included James Kokulo Fasuekoi, the Foundation’s Communication Director and were accompanied by Dr. Moses U-Joe Weidehgar, the Lofa County Health Officer.
