A dedicated member of Infoquest Liberia, Sialyn Bockarie has been selected as one of sixteen Liberian professionals currently participating in the fifth round of the International Training Programme on Land Governance (ITPLZ), now underway in Sweden.

The prestigious nine-month program, jointly attended by participants from Liberia and Zimbabwe, is funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and implemented by Lantmäteriet, Sweden’s national mapping, cadastral, and land registration authority.

Focused on promoting inclusive, transparent, and sustainable land governance, the ITPLZ program equips participants with essential tools and knowledge to strengthen land institutions and support equitable access to land particularly for vulnerable groups in urban and peri-uran areas.

Ms. Bockarie’s selection highlights InfoQuest Liberia’s commitment to advancing land governance reforms that contribute to peacebuilding, social equity, and community resilience across the country.

“Strong land governance is foundational to equitable development and long-term stability,” said a spokesperson for InfoQuest Liberia. “Ms. Bockarie’s participation in this international training program reinforces our dedication to building local capacity and fostering inclusive solutions for land-related challenges.”

Meanwhile, InfoQuest Liberia hailed SIDA, the Embassy of Sweden in Monrovia, and all international partners supporting the program, including the UK in Liberia, British Embassy Monrovia, Embassy of Ireland in Liberia, U.S. Embassy Monrovia, and Irish Aid.

According to Infoquest Liberia, Their continued support is instrumental in shaping a more transparent and just land governance system in Liberia.
