A devastating road accident that occurred this morning in Nimba County District #7, has resulted in the unconfirmed death of a motorcyclist, identified only as Enoch.

The collision occurred along the Saclepea-Tappita Highway, just before reaching the well-known 4:30 Brabie Entertainment Center, sparking chaos and concern among residents.

According to eyewitness accounts, the accident unfolded when Enoch, traveling from the Saclepea route, attempted to overtake a brown pickup truck coming from the opposite lane, specifically from Tappita. In a tragic turn of events, this maneuver led to a collision that left Enoch severely injured and unconscious.

Immediate reactions from the scene indicated further unrest, as the pickup driver fled the area amidst the angry outbursts of the victim’s family and friends.

The situation reportedly escalated, prompting a swift response from the Liberia National Police at the Saclepea police depot, who arrived to restore order and control the scene.

As of now, the report further states that Enoch remains unconscious, with his family anxiously awaiting updates on his health.

This incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding road safety in the region, as residents call for increased awareness and measures to prevent such tragic occurrences in the future.

The community mourns the loss and stands in solidarity with the victim’s family during this difficult time.
