The Francis J. Grant Memorial Hospital in Sinoe County has received a
brand-new X-ray machine and a large consignment of medical supplies from the
Joseph Nyumah Boakai Foundation.
According to Sinoe County Superintendent Hon. Peter Wleh Nyensuah, the
donation is a significant step toward improving healthcare delivery in the
county.
“This is a great development and very
helpful to our county,” Superintendent Nyensuah stated.
He further explained that the donation followed his lobbying efforts with
the Joseph Nyumah Boakai Foundation, aimed at addressing some of the county’s
urgent medical needs.
The hospital’s administrator expressed heartfelt appreciation to President
Joseph Nyumah Boakai, through his foundation, for what he described as a timely
and thoughtful gesture.
“We are grateful to the President and his foundation, and we thank
Superintendent Nyensuah for making this possible. The X-ray machine and medical
supplies will be used for their intended purposes,” the administrator said.
He also expressed hope that more such support will follow, as the county
continues to seek improvements in its healthcare infrastructure.
