In fulfillment of a pledge to support local government development initiatives in Greenville, Sinoe County, Attorney T. Maxwell Grigsby II has made an initial contribution of100,000 LD (One Hundred Thousand Liberian Dollars) to the Sinoe One Dollar Rally.
The contribution was presented to Mr. Othello Tarbah, Chairman of the Rally Committee and Director of the Legislative Budget Office (LBO), Republic of Liberia.
Disclosing the donation on his official Facebook page, Atty. Grigsby described the contribution as part of his commitment to strengthening grassroots development efforts in the county.
“Yesterday, in fulfillment of our promise to support local government initiatives in Greenville through the Sinoe One Dollar Rally, we made an initial contribution of 100,000 LD,” he stated.
“This is part of our ongoing commitment to improving the living conditions of our people.”He praised the Rally Committee for its transparency and responsiveness, noting that public accountability remains key to sustaining trust and participation.
“We appreciate the Chairman and members of the Committee for the publication acknowledging receipt of the payment.
Accountability and openness are essential to building public trust,” he added.
Attorney Grigsby also called on sons and daughters of Sinoe County, both at home and in the diaspora, to rally behind the initiative.
“We wish to use this medium to plead with all well-meaning citizens of our dear county to support the efforts of the local government. Sustainable development requires collective responsibility,” he emphasized.
He further commended the leadership of Superintendent Slewion for what he described as stewardship and innovation in advancing the county’s development agenda, urging him to engage a broader cross-section of stakeholders.
“Congratulations to Superintendent Slewion and the team for their stewardship and innovation. Our county needs real transformation. I encourage you to reach out to all stakeholders within and outside of the Government of Liberia,” he said.
Atty. Grigsby, a prominent son of Sinoe County, pledged continued advocacy and support for the county’s development initiatives.
“We are here to support you and to advocate for the support of Sinoe citizens in Montserrado County, other parts of Liberia, and the diaspora. To the future,” he concluded.
The Sinoe One Dollar Rally is part of ongoing efforts aimed at mobilizing resources to support local government initiatives and improve living conditions across Sinoe County.
