The Superintendent of Montserrado County, Whroway Bryant, has provided new vehicles to government staff in Bentol, including the Bentol City Corporation, to alleviate ongoing transportation challenges.
The donation, valued at $49,000, aims to improve employee punctuality and efficiency.
The items, procured through the County and Social Development Funds, include a 17-seater bus for county employees and two track cycles for the Bentol City Corporation.
The donation also included one motorcycle.
During the handover ceremony, Superintendent Bryant stressed the importance of public service and urged county and city staff to be dedicated to their duties.
“This initiative is to ensure that staff come to work on time and carry out their duties efficiently, Bryant stated”, he added.
Adda Kallon, the Human Resource Director, spoke on behalf of the county employees, welcoming the donation as a much-needed boost to their daily operations.
