President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has made additional nominations and appointments in government affecting the Liberia Telecommunications Authority, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Lottery Authority, and the Liberia Electricity Corporation.
The latest nominations and appointments signaling his continued commitment to building a capable and inclusive governance team.
These appointments and nominations
where applicable, are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate include; Patrick R. Honnah – Commissioner, LTA, Angela Cassell Bush – Commissioner, LTA and Ben Fofana – Commissioner, LTA respectively.
At the Ministry of Justice Cora N. Hare Konuwa was appointed as Deputy Minister of Justice for Administration
While at the Ministry of Internal Affairs:
Richmond Fleming, II was appointed as Commissioner, Schieffelin Township.
The Liberian leader also appointed Peter Solo as Director General of the National Lottery Authority.
V. Liberia Electricity Corporation
At the same time, Siafa Gbollie was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Liberia Electricity Corporation.
In a statement, The Liberian leader expressed confidence in the qualifications, integrity, and experience of the nominees and highlighted the importance of their timely confirmation to support ongoing reform and development efforts across the country.
Additionally, President Boakai calls on all appointed officials of government to continue to demonstrate diligence, commitment, integrity, professionalism, and loyalty in service to country.
