President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has made two key appointments in line with his commitment to strengthening Liberia’s governance and development agenda.

President Boakai has appointed Cllr. William B. Kollie, Sr. as Court Administrator of the
Supreme Court of Liberia.

Cllr. Kollie has served with distinction as Assistant Court Administrator for five consecutive years and has a long record of service within the Judiciary.

His appointment comes as Cllr. Elizabeth J. Nelson, the current Court Administrator, retires effective August 30, 2025, after years of dedicated service.

The Liberian leader at the same time extended appreciation to Cllr. Nelson for her many years of dedicated service to the Judiciary.

In a related development, President Boakai has also appointed Ambassador Chris
Onanuga as Chairman of the Board of the Liberia Tourism Authority (LTA).

Amb. Onanuga’s appointment signals the Administration’s determination to promote Liberia as a premier tourism destination, strengthen the country’s cultural and natural heritage assets, and boost economic opportunities in line with the ARREST Agenda.

He expressed confidence that both Cllr. Kollie and Amb. Onanuga will bring professionalism, integrity, and innovation to their respective offices.

The President reiterated his call to officials of government to continue to demonstrate
diligence, commitment, integrity, professionalism, and loyalty in service to country.
