The National Keh-Keh and Motorbike Riders Welfare and Advocacy Organization of Liberia has issued a stark warning to the Liberian government, threatening a week-long “go slow” action by all cyclists if their demands regarding alleged police harassment and unfair ticketing are not met within seven days.

​Speaking to the media, the chairman Ansu Sesay expressed solidarity with all Keh-Keh and motorbike riders, including the drivers’ union of Liberia, describing suh as constant harassment from traffic police officers and the arbitrary issuing of expensive tickets.

The group joined their voice to that of the many voices and call on the Ministry of Justice, the Liberia National Police (LNP) and Inspector General Gregory Coleman, and the National Legislature to cancel the concession agreement signed between the government of Liberia and Liberia Traffic Management (LTM).

The aggrieved Tri and Motorcyclists insisted that all vehicle and tricycle registration processes be returned to the Ministry of Transport (MOT).

​Furthermore, NAKEMOR is demanding that Inspector General Coleman immediately cancel all “No Go Zones restrictions” for tricycles and motorcycles in Monrovia, allowing them to freely move around all parts of the country.

They blasts the government of alleged suppression as such give the government seven days ultimatum to listen and address their plights urgently.

At the same time, ​They want the unfair ticketing and alleged constant harassment of Keh-Keh and Motorbike Riders to stop immediately.
