More diplomats and foreign missions continue to pay tribute to Liberia over the passing of Minister Sylvester Grigsby, former Minister of State for Presidential Affairs.
The sad event following illness occurred on August 9, 2025 in the United States of America.
In Doha Qatar, where A Liberian embassy is also situated, Liberia’s Ambassador to Qatar, Amb. Mohammed B.O. S. Kenneth led the delegation in joining others around the globe to signed the book of Condolence for the astute public servant and seasoned diplomat.
Among those who participated in the signing of the book of Condolence ceremony include representatives and diplomats from Angola, Singapore, Italy, Eritrea, United Arab Emirates, Nigeria, Togo, Sudan, Benin, Mozambique, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
Other are: The Sultanate of Oman, Kenya , Tanzania and South Africa respectively.
Meanwhile, Liberian citizens residing in Qatar also signed the book of Condolence to the memory of the late Amb. Sylvester Grigsby.
As tributes continue to pour in , the people and government are mourning a dedicated, committed and professional public servant who served the nation and its people with passion and integrity.
He was born on October 15, 2025 and died at the age of 75.
